movile – Department of Mobile Phone movies
Based on the innovative philosophy that characterizes the Naoussa International Film Festival we
have incorporated – first in Greece – in our events the absolutely pioneering and interesting department of
mobile phone movies, called “Movile”.
The technological evolution has brought the convergence of voice, video and data services to one
device. Today the mobile phone is an easily accessible and a widely used appliance of digital technology.
The “movile” department gives everyone the opportunity to show their creative mood by creating
their own movie. At the same time, it offers the audience the chance to watch movies that have the seal of
digital technology, as they are clearly part of her.
Until the 15th of February 2011, everyone that is interested in participating can submit his
application to the department of mobile phone movies through the Festival’s website. The innovations that
concern movile include the on-line transmission of the movies via our website, the opportunity of voting
on-line, their alternative projection at the Festival’s venues and useful gifts as award to the distinguished
creators.
