2nd Sapixel International Photocontest

The Students Association from Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania's Faculty of Sciences and Arts announces this year's Sapixel photo contest to which anyone can submit their work irrespective of experience and qualifications. In the same time, it is also an excellent opportunity for photographers to present their works and to contribute to the enrichment of photographic culture. The Students Association from Sapientia University Cluj-Napoca will also organise an exhibition from the best works in the gallery of the Students' House of Culture in Cluj, after which the works will be exhibited in several other big cities in Transylvania, too. The competition works are to be sent exclusively in electronic format on the following web address: www.sapixel.khok.ro.

Submission deadline: 15. 04. 2013.

Entry requirements:

• Works can be submitted only after accepting the terms of the contest and after registration. Then the competition works can be uploaded to the specified website address
• Each contestant can submit one photograph on each topic.
• The file can have a maximum size of 10 MB, and the picture's resolution must be of at least 1024x768 pixels.
• The pictures first undergo an ethical, technical and qualitative review, and those that do not meet the contest requirements will be dropped out.
• By submitting their works contestants accept the terms of the contest and consent to the publication and exhibition of their works by the organisers free of charge.
• The contestant assumes responsability for any possible breach of personal and/or intellectual property rights.
