Master's Degree in Film Studies

This Hungarian-language study program started in september 2015, being a joint collaboration between Sapientia University and ELTE University, Budapest.

The program has a duration of 2 years and it is entitled Film Studies, being focused on contemporary film culture as for its historical, theoretical and production issues. Successful candidates will form production teams, assuming concrete roles from the beginning (director, script-writer, producer, assistant director, cinematographer, sound engineer, post-production, film critic/theorist), with the aim of creating two such films that might be presented on television or sent to festivals. Given the realities of Eastern European film production, we support the production of short films and documentaries.

For practical information on the admission process the Hungarian or Romanian version of this page might be consulted.
