…and there are further distinctions we are proud of.
The Hungarian Student Film Survey (http://diakfilmszemle.polifilm.hu ) - aimed at young filmmakers and video-artists - is organized by the Hungarian Cultural Institute and Art Lectorate, the "Ház a Réten" Cultural Association, the Aranytíz Cultural Centre and the POLIFILM Műhely Foundation. The Survey gathers every year in the last week of August for the screening of individual and group works at their regular location, the Aranytíz Cultural Centre in Budapest. This year the competition hosted a number of 162 films out of which 31 were awarded prizes, among them the following Sapientia alumni:
Ábel Visky for Csobbanás / Splash (the main prize of the competition)
László Dunai and István Kürti for Víz alatt / Underwater (the prize of the Animus Publishing House)
Ábel Visky for Éjszaka a Földön / Night on the Earth (the prize of the Polifilm Media School)
Congratulations to all of them!
