Affective intermediality: a new research paradigm

On 22 November 2024 we organize a hybrid (in person/online) international workshop in conclusion of the research project in order to debate the results and discuss future plans.
The concrete aims of the workshop:
- Discussion of the research results: the evaluation of the results, conclusions, articulation of possible new perspectives.
- The discussion of the questions of affective intermediality as a possible new research paradigm of film studies.
- The debate of the scientific volume (Affective Intermediality: Moving Images between Media, Sensation and Reality) edited as part of the research project, which is currently under review in the Palgrave Studies in Intermediality series of the Springer Nature Publishing House
- a discussion with the authors of the studies selected in the volume plan about the volume's theoretical framework, key concepts, about the case studies included.
Participants: members of the research project and authors of the edited volume (from Ireland, The United Kingdom, The United States, Russia, India, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Hungary, Romania).
