Animates festival & forum 2024

The schedule of the animation festival organized by our department in collaboration with Beanbag Animation Studio is out!

The aim of the festival is to bring together animation workshops and animation enthusiasts (with a special focus on Hungarian and Romanian animation) and to promote the expressive potential of animation among the general audience.

PROGRAM

FRIDAY (11th of OCTOBER)

16:00 - Opening Event. Workshop and exchange of experiences with representatives of the participating animation schools (limited number of places). Location: Aula

19:00 - Estonian animation: screenings of films by Kaspar Jancis, Sander Joon and Lucija Mrzljak with the directors presence + Q&A. Location: Aula

SATURDAY (12th of OCTOBER)

10:00 - Workshop with Kaspar Jancis, Sander Joon and Lucija Mrzljak estonian directors (limited number of places). Location: Studio

 

15:00 - That's What She Said - selection of Animation Festival Network from short audiovisual works by female and female-identifying filmmakers. Location: Aula

 

17:00 - Ecological Distopia in Animation Film / Animation feature film screening: White Plastic Sky (2023) + conversation. Location: Aula

11:00 - Animation time: interactive family programme. Best of Primanima screening and practical insights into the world of animation. Location: Aula
