MEMORY REEL/DAY DIARY: installation and photo exhibition

The event was simultaneous with the conference organized by the department, "The Real and the Intermedial", on the 23-24 October 2015, and it took place in the studio.
Our former student, Adela Muntean, created the installation Memory Reel out of celluloid strips collected from the Film Storage Deposit in Cluj-Napoca, abandoned for some years. The installation constituted the master's diploma work of Adela, which she defended this year at the MOME University, Budapest, and it was complemented by a short documentary film projected in loop at the exhibition site. In addition to the installation, our students presented their project Day Diary, coordinated by Mira Marincas, assistant professor in our department. Photographs of the event may be accessed here.
