Our students' successes at the Eszterházy Film Days

The IV. Eszterházy Film Days - In the Memory of Illés György took place between 27-28 April 2012, and one of the sections was the 3rd Higher Education Student Film Survey organized by the Moving Image Culture Department of the Eszterházy Károly College, with competing student films made at Budapest College of Communication, Business and Arts, Kaposvár University, Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences, Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Miskolc University, King Sigismund College, the organizer institution and also foreign universities. The competition was organized in three categories: short films, documentaries, and animation films. The homepage of the event may be accessed here.
Our students were awarded prizes in the following categories:
- documentaries: Kató (dir. Ibolya Bálint), 3rd prize;
- short films: Sejtekig szerelmes [Inner Love] (dir. Zoltán Nagy), 3rd prize;
- best script: Szufla [Breath] (written by Bán Attila)
- the special prize of Eger city: Barlang lak [Cave House] (Szabolcs Kőváry)
