Prof. Ágnes Pethő was invited to Gdansk as a keynote spaker

The title of her presentation: Re-sensitizing Film Studies. The Affective Performativity of Intermediality.
The conference of Polish film scholars took place between September 18 and 20 at the University of Gdańsk.
The title of the event was: 5th Congress of Film and Media Scholars. Manifestations and Transgressions: Politics - Aesthetics - Theories.
Organizers: Polish Society for Film and Media Research, University of Gdańsk: Institute for Cultural Research, Andrzej Wajda Film Centre of the University of Gdańsk, Institute of Media, Journalism and Social Communication.
Prof. Ágnes Pethő outlined the results of her large-scale research project entitled Affective Intermediality, which was completed last year and will be published in book form later this fall.
