Seeing silent films at Pordenone
24/10/2012 11:54 AM

The opinion of our students participating as viewers at the Festival: hardly anything to eat, but still worthwhile!

In the period 6-13 October 2012 The Festival of Silent Films at Pordenone had its 31st edition. The Hungarian journal Metropolis describes it thus: “A fascinating festival, halfway between Trieste and Venice, the homeland of Pasolini, Friuli – and dedicated to silent films. Everyone should organize their pilgrimage there, at least once.”

Videos related to the festival’s 31st edition may be viewed here.

Here you may access this year’s festival report on the British Film Institute’s webpage.

This year, two of our students, Barna Szász and Előd Németh applied successfully for participation. Further photos from the festival may be accessed here.
