At the short film festival organized between 23-28 September 2009 in Potenza, Italy, entitled Short Movie Festival Sámuel Visky won the prize for best film in the category "World Problems" for his film Shore-less.
The reason for obtaining this award is explained like this on the website of the festival:
"For the technical and emotional skills of a young yet already extremely talented director and his ability to dig into a complex and universal theme with gentleness and sensitivity."
Zsolt Kató received and honourable mention for his film Le petit mort (The Little Death).
This is what they wrote:
"The excellent script, along with an intense and brilliant acting, make this an extremely well shot movie, which faces - with sincere and analytic depth- a very intimate but universal story. Overall, the movie turns out to be very coherent and convincing."
