Analogue Partisans: an Attempt for Reinventing Analogue Filmmaking in the Digital Era
The artistic research took place within the framework of the supplementary, alternative educational project entitled Celluloid Workshop, jointly organized by the Transylvanian Hungarian Film Association and Sapientia EMTE, under the leadership of Dr. Róbert-Árpád Lakatos, in connection with the filming of a remake of the lost Hungarian silent film The Death of Dracula (1921). The filmmaking process lasted 6 years, between 2018 and 2024.

Results of the research
The film The Death of Dracula (2025)
A 60-minute remake (whose 8 chapters were shot by different creative teams on 16mm black-and-white film), with its world premiere in the Cinema Regained section of the 2025 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
