A new book about the illustrated history of filmmaking in the silent cinema era in Cluj

The editors of the book are Gyöngyi Balogh, a film historian from Budapest and Bálint Zágoni, a former student at Sapientia.

The editors went through the collections of 7 institutions (The National Film Archive from Budapest, The National Film Archive from Bucharest, The Széchenyi Library from  Budapest, The Institute of Theatre History from Budapest, The Society of the Transylvanian Museum, The Archive of the National Theatre in Cluj, The Romanian National Archives) as well as the private collections of several persons and published an impressive selection from more than 700 photos and posters.
