The festival took place at Miskolc (Ungaria) between September the 11th and the 20th, 2009. It is a festival that has a good chance of becoming the most important international film festival organized in Hungary as it offers a platform for the most talented young filmmakers under 35 from all over the world.
This year the festival had an exceptionally rich programme: films from 46 different countries were presented and beside the film screenings there were workshops, exhibitions and other special events.
Cecília Felméri won the award entitled "Hope of the Future" as well as the special prize of the student jury for her short fiction film entitled Kakukk (Cuckoo) inspired by an erotic folk tale.
